Want More Money? Try Paid Opinion Surveys

Need extra cash? You could take surveys for money!

One easy way to start an independent extra income stream for yourself is to join the many thousands who take paid surveys. If you are 18 or over, a consumer (if you eat, you’re a consumer!) and have enough computer skills to be able to send and receive e-mails.

The reason that this is possible is because large companies absolutely must know what consumers, especially the consumers that buy THEIR products or services, are thinking. Most such companies never come into direct contact with the people that ultimately buy what they are selling.

And yet they have to know what consumers are thinking in order to improve their products, develop new products or measure which of their advertising campaigns is being seen!

To get the consumer preference info they need they hire market researchers. Market researchers send out surveys to get the answers. This is a huge business on the Internet (the fastest, cheapest way to make a survey). Every week there are thousands of surveys being made!

The only way to get people to take the time to sit down and fill out survey questionnaires is to pay them! Typical surveys pay $10 to $25 and take 7 to 18 minutes to fill out. Take a $10 and a $25 survey a day and you’ll make over $1,000 in a month!

That is how a paid opinion survey can be your key to more income.

There are thousands of people who make money taking surveys. You could be one of them!

Increase Memory With DL-Phenylalanine (DLPA)

Phenylalanine (abbreviated as Phe or F) is an a-amino acid with the formula HO2CCH(NH2)CH2C6H5, which is found naturally in the breast milk of mammals and manufactured for food and drink products and are also sold as nutritional supplements for their reputed analgesic and antidepressant effects. Phenylalanine is structurally closely related to dopamine, epinepherine (adrenaline) and tyrosine.

This essential amino acid is classified as non-polar because of the hydrophobic nature of the benzyl side chain. It is a white, powdery solid. L-Phenylalanine (LPA) is an electrically-neutral amino acid, one of the twenty common amino acids used to biochemically form proteins, coded for by DNA.

DL-Phenylalanine (DLPA) has been found to work in conjunction with the body’s natural ability to relieve pain. It helps to lengthen the lifespan of the chemicals in the brain that ease pain. It is especially effective in relieving pain from arthritis and aching muscles.

Some chronic pain can be treated with DL-phenylalanine through the stimulation of nerve pathways in the brain that control pain. Enhanced pain relief has been discovered when D-phenylalanine is used in conjunction with prescribed pain killers. This manufactured form of phenylalanine is used to block an enzyme in the nervous system that increases pain signals. The interruption of pain signals allows the healing mechanisms of the body to begin working faster.

L-phenylalanine is an essential amino acid (cannot be produced by the body) and thus must be obtained through the diet. L-Phenylalanine is used in different biochemical processes to produce neurotransmitters, dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine, hormones which are depleted by stress, overwork and certain drugs.

By replenishing norepinephrine in the brain, mental energy levels are enhanced, some forms of depression are alleviated, and a feeling of contentment often occurs. Because of the liver conversion necessary for L-phenylalanine to have these effects, L-Tyrosine is often faster acting. In addition, the conversion step from L-Tyrosine to norepinephrine may be enhanced if the cofactors (vitamins B6 and C) are included.

Great amino acids like DLPA are available in capsule or tablet form at your local or internet vitamin store. Look for name brands when purchasing DLPA to ensure quality and purity of the product you purchase.

Always consult with your professional health care provider before changing any medication or adding Vitamins to medications.

Build A Healthier Body With Turmeric

Turmeric root is an ancient spice, a native of South East Asia, used from antiquity as dye and a condiment. It is cultivated primarily in Bengal, China, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Java, Peru, Australia and the West Indies. It is still used in rituals of the Hindu religion, and as a dye for holy robes, being natural, un-synthesized and cheap. Turmeric is in fact one of the cheapest spices.

Although as a dye it is used similarly to saffron, the culinary uses of the two spices should not be confused and should never replace saffron in food dishes. Its use dates back nearly 4000 years, to the Vedic culture in India where it was used as a culinary spice and had some religious significance. The name derives from the Latin terra merita ‘meritorious earth’ referring to the color of ground which resembles a mineral pigment. In many languages turmeric is simply named as ‘yellow root’.

Turmeric is the rhizome or underground stem of a ginger-like plant. It is usually available ground, as a bright yellow, fine powder. The whole turmeric is a tuberous rhizome, with a rough, segmented skin. The rhizome is yellowish-brown with a dull orange interior that looks bright yellow when powdered. The main rhizome measures 2.5 – 7 cm (1 to 3 inches) in length with a diameter of 2.5 cm (1 inch), with smaller tubers branching off.

Turmeric is botanically known as Curcuma longa, derived from the old Arabic name for the kurkum plant we know better as saffron. Yet this spice is a member of the ginger family and unrelated to saffron. Like ginger, it is the root of the turmeric plant that is used as a spice, usually in a dried form.

In biblical times it was used as a perfume as well as a spice. In the Middle Ages it was called Indian saffron because of its orange-yellow color. The rhizome has a pepper like aroma and a somewhat bitter, warm taste. It is the ingredient that colors and flavours prepared mustard and is used in curry powder, relishes, pickles, spiced butters for vegetables, in fish and egg dishes, and with poultry, rice, and pork. In parts of Asia turmeric water is applied as a cosmetic to lend a golden glow to the complexion.

Native to southern India and Indonesia, turmeric is cultivated on the mainland and in the islands of the Indian Ocean. Production involves a boiling process, which is followed by exposure of the rhizomes to sunlight for five to seven days to dry. Then they are polished by hand rubbing or by rotation in a mounted drum. Dried rhizomes vary from about 2.5 to 7.5 cm (1 to 3 inches) in length. The spice is usually sold in ground form. Distillation yields 1.3 to 5.5 percent essential oil, the main components of which are turmerone and ar-turmerone. The coloring matter is curcumin.

Turmeric has many health benefits one being that it can help the body fight inflammation and it is a good liver tonic. Turmeric is available in extract form at your local or internet health food store. When buying turmeric, always look for name brands like Solaray, Doctors Best, Source Naturals, or Natures Plus to ensure that you receive a quality product that is pure.
