Selling systems like Yahoo Stores (Yahoo Small Business), Volusion, 1ShoppingCart are already on the market. BigCommerce is better than the rest though.
At our Interspire BigCommerce review site we list our honest review of BigCommerce, other shopping carts, and how to sell your products online.
Here are three simple reasons whay you may want to consider using BigCommerce:
1) Start your first ecommerce store fast and easy
Uploading product images and setting up the rest of your account is really easy. PayPal, 2CheckOut and other payment systems are supported in BigCommerce.
There are two ways – either get your own domain name or a free subdomain provided by BC.com – for eample “mystore.bigcommerce.com”.
2) Customize and control your store design
It has more than 40 templates you can use right away. The best thing about BigCommerce is the point and drag design interface.
You can read csome of our comarison reviews to see the difference:
1) 1ShoppingCart vs BigCommerce
2) Yahoo Small Business vs Big Commerce
3) Big Commerce vs Volusion
You can easily change your store layout by moving elements in real time. Also you can easily edit CSS (style sheet) of the themes.
3) Sales and other important data
It’s annoying to admit the fact that while we have FaceBook and Twitter, the basic shopping cart software you’ll find in most places is seriously lacking in statistical tools and cool “web 2.0″ stuff that we’ve all come to love.
You receive complete statistical analysis control with BC. For example, you can see the best selling items, the top customers, and even the geographical location of order using Google Maps.
You will never be in the dark as to how well your business is doing, or how it can be improved. Sales and customer retention rate can be imprved greatly over time.
Besides the above, BigCommerce is also fully SEO-enabled, which means that your entire store will be search engine friendly. All you need to do is focus on adding products and making sales, while you enjoy a free flow of traffic from Google.
With the correct autoresponder software, the sky is the limit as far as your online sales is concerned.
Pumpkins, turkeys and Santa Claus. This is the time of year that many families start to sing the the old refrain of “Off to grandmother’s house we go.”
We all know that it’s one of life’s great rewards to have our own parents marvel at and praise the conversational skills and arobatic antics of our children. That’s what grandparents do. It’s good to be there but sometimes the trip iself is not the best of fun. Travelling with children can be difficult.
While visiting grandparents and staying over for a few or several days may mean going home to us, Grandma’s house is probably a new and strange environment to your kids. Especially if you live far away and only get to visit one or two tmes a year. What can you do to make your kids more comfortable with their temporary surroundings, and not coicidentally make the trip for everybody else involved a lot more pleasant and memorable?
Kids like familiarity. One way to bring some familiarity along on the trip is to bring the kid’s beds with them. Not the whole bedroom of course, but how about the Spiderman bed? For them that probably is the whole bedroom, at least when it’s time to get them to sleep at night.
Of course you are not going to toss a box spring and coil mattress on top of the car, but you can easily stow a kids inflatable mattress or two, or three, in a corner in the trunk of the car. The Aerobed for kids air mattress comes with its own convenient carry bag for just such contingencies.
If beds are in short supply at Grandmas toss in an intex air mattress or two for the adults.
If you are traveling and wanting to find a perfect souvenir, then consider a tote bag. You can find tote bags almost anywhere you travel. It does not matter if you are at a fancy resort for the week or on an overnight weekend trip, you will find that there are tote cases available that can remind you of a fun trip. This souvenir is one that will always be used. No one would think of traveling without one or more tote bags.
Tote handbags are useful from the moment you buy them. If you need a little more room in your luggage, then grab a tote to give your suitcase a little breathing room. They fold flat, so it is easy to toss one in the luggage as you pack, just in case you do not find a new perfect tote handbag on the trip. They are a good size for a carryon case and stow easily under your seat in a plane. Apart from that, they are no where near as costly as d a designer handbag.
The normal size for a tote carryall is thirteen by 20 inches or thereabouts, although they are available in both larger and smaller sizes. While they can be made of many different materials, canvas makes a sturdy washable tote carryall.
Tote cases are a great gift for teachers. They can transport papers to and from school for grading. Demonstration projects can be gathered together and transported to school in a tote bag. They are study enough to transport text books too.
I am also a crafter. I find that I am able to keep all the supplies needed for a craft in one tote carryall so that I do not have to go searching through my craft room to get the supplies that I need. Tote carryalls are the perfect size for skeins of yarn and pattern books. I would never travel without one of my trusted tote bags.
Tote bags make great shopping cases. They are very durable and make interesting conversation pieces. They are sturdier than the bags that are being sold everywhere for reuse and each time that you use them; you are reminded of a fun family vacation.
One of the UK’s largest fancy dress online retailers claims it may face a bill of at least £50,000 as a result of the postal strike. Jokers’ Masquerade in Newbury, Berkshire, sends out 4,000 parcels a day during October, its busiest times of the year.
Two years ago, a strike cost the firm £47,000 in additional delivery costs. The Communication Workers Union (CWU) said it had been “pushed” into striking by “aggressive Royal Mail management”. The first nationwide postal strike in two years began at 0400 BST, 23rd Oct..
‘Protect reputation’
Rob Hamilton-Day, operations manager at the Jokers’ Masquerade warehouse, said he had “had to take the contingency measure of using another courier” earlier in the week. He said it was better for the firm to lose some profit by spending the extra money on deliveries, rather than lose its long-term reputation. But this year’s extra deliveries would cost the firm far more than those it faced two years ago, he said.
The firm will use the courier until the end of October. Mr Hamilton-Day added the firm was also considering switching deliveries away from Royal Mail permanently as a result of the current strike.
Terry Jackson, regional secretary of the Communication Workers Union (CWU), said: “Our postmen and postwomen don’t want any businesses to go away from Royal Mail, equally they don’t want to lose any money on strike action.
“Nonetheless, they’ve been pushed into this situation by an aggressive Royal Mail management.”
Fancy Dress Voucher Codes are also available via their website as a “thank you” to current and prospective customers to do business with them.
